The Forgotten One

Yesterday, I have heard an interesting history about the disease called 'Kwashiorkor'..Yeahh..so..what my teacher told us was that..it means 'the forgotten one'

So, it all began when an African women was giving birth. Then, about two years later she gave birth again. But as you see..they usually eat a porridge which is rich in carbohydrates. So, now the women have two baby. Now, she doen't have enough nutrients in her. So, what she do is that..her choice is to breast-milk or feed or watever you called it to the second one pasal ea younger.

So, for her first child, she didn't give him milk. Instead she gave the porridge. As a result, this child doesn't get enough nutrients like the second one. That's why many of his bones kalii is not really that strong. He didn't have enough proteins and calcium and all the nutrients which mostly came from the mother's milk.

that's why the first child is called 'the forgotten one'.
But luckily, nowadays many people have volunteer to help these people.
Many things are done.
I salute them...:D
Well, i guess the african children is not having a bad life right now.
